My Story

I didn’t begin this work as a specialist, I began as someone dealing with persistent lower back pain myself. At the time, I was playing football at a level where I was close to being paid, while also working long hours in a warehouse during COVID. My days were repetitive and exhausting due to early mornings, late evenings, very little rest, and almost no time to recover properly. Sleep was often disrupted by back pain, and each day felt like starting again without ever fully catching up. What made it harder wasn’t just the physical strain, but the uncertainty. I was training, working, and pushing forward without a clear understanding of what was actually helping my back and what was making things worse. Like many people, I tried quick fixes and generic exercises, hoping something would finally stick. Some things helped briefly, but nothing felt reliable or sustainable. Eventually, I had to make a difficult decision to step away from football. That period was challenging, both physically and mentally, but it also forced me to slow down and reflect. I realised I didn’t just want temporary relief — I wanted clarity, structure, and a better understanding of how the body adapts under load, stress, and fatigue. That shift led me to study movement, posture, and evidence-based rehabilitation, and to earn my Level 4 Lower Back Pain Specialist qualification. Along the way, I also realised that people need different levels of support. Some benefit most from one-to-one guidance and regular check-ins. Others prefer a clear, structured programme they can follow independently, at their own pace. That understanding shapes how I work today. I offer both 1:1 exercise-based coaching and ready-made rehabilitation programmes, all built around the same principles: education, progressive movement, and realistic expectations. My goal is simple — to provide clear, structured plans that make sense, respect your body, and support long-term progress in a way that fits real life.
